Manhunt Intensifies in South St Andrew as Police Zero In on 21 Suspects Linked to Violent Offences

Authorities in the St Andrew South Police Division have launched a major crackdown on crime, releasing a fresh list of individuals wanted in connection with a string of murders, shootings, and violent assaults across Kingston and surrounding areas. The move comes amid heightened efforts to restore order in several communities gripped by gang-related violence.

A total of 16 men have been formally declared wanted, with an additional 5 persons of interest identified by detectives. Investigators believe these individuals hold critical information or are directly responsible for a wave of serious offences currently under probe by the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB).

The crimes span multiple neighborhoods, including Red Hills, Greenwich Town, Seaview Gardens, and Portmore Pines — areas that have experienced a spike in homicides and armed confrontations in recent months.

Among the most serious allegations are multiple murder charges, shooting with intent, wounding, robbery with aggravation, and assault at common law. The police did not provide details on the specific incidents but stressed that each individual listed is a priority target.

Law enforcement officials are calling on the suspects to surrender at once, and are appealing to the public to assist in locating them. Anyone with credible information is urged to contact the police emergency line at 119, Crime Stop at 311, or the Hunts Bay CIB at 876-923-7230.

In a stern statement, investigators warned that the manhunt will intensify in the days ahead, with increased patrols and targeted operations across hotspot zones. Police have also reminded citizens that harboring or aiding fugitives is a criminal offence and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The situation remains dynamic as authorities continue their pursuit.
