Eagle Dance’ Takes Flight: Kiprich and Tugstar’s New Hit Inspires a Dancehall Craze

Dancehall artist Kiprich is heating up the scene once again, this time with Tugstar in their new single, Eagle Dance. The track, already stirring excitement, comes with a signature dance move that’s gaining traction across social media and street parties.

The hype around Eagle Dance started when Kiprich was performing at a show in the Bahamas. He invited popular dancer Shelly Belly on stage, who showcased the dance, sparking a frenzy that led to the video going viral. Kiprich says, “Shelly Belly really brought the energy with the dance, and since then, it’s been unstoppable online.”

Since then, fans and influencers alike have embraced the dance, sharing clips from parties and events around Kingston and beyond. Although an official music video is still in the works, Shelly Belly and fellow dancer Racoon are keeping the Eagle Dance alive on the streets, while selector WorldBoom has been championing the song on his playlists.

Produced by DJ Kemo and JA4Life, Eagle Dance was officially released on the Ja4Life label, which is celebrated for hits like Kalado’s Peppa Sauce and K Queens’ Who Wrong?. The label’s recent productions include collaborations with emerging talents like Bounty Killer’s son, Nickapella, making JA4Life a strong presence in today’s dancehall landscape.
