Supreme Ventures Weighs Strategic Reshuffle as Evolve Lending Assets Enter Sale Talks

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Supreme Ventures Limited has begun early-stage negotiations that could see a portion of its lending exposure restructured, as discussions advance around the transfer of Evolve Loan Co’s loan portfolio and select assets to Dolla Financial Services Limited.

The potential deal remains contingent on regulatory clearance from the Bank of Jamaica and the successful conclusion of commercial terms. If completed, the transaction would mark a recalibration of Supreme Ventures’ credit strategy rather than an exit from the lending space altogether.

According to the company, the proposed move is aimed at sharpening balance sheet efficiency and easing concentrated credit exposure. Evolve Loan Co would subsequently pivot toward a lighter operating framework, prioritising loan origination, technology-driven services, and platform-based growth instead of holding large volumes of credit on its own books.

For Dolla Financial Services, the transaction represents a step-change opportunity. Absorbing the portfolio would deepen its presence in the microfinance market and accelerate the scale of its lending operations, positioning the firm for broader reach and improved portfolio dynamics.

Supreme Ventures is expected to maintain a minority ownership position in Dolla Financial, allowing it to remain economically aligned with the performance of the transferred assets while freeing up capital for redeployment across its core businesses.

The discussions signal a deliberate shift in how Supreme Ventures manages capital and risk — favouring structural flexibility, selective exposure, and long-term optionality over balance-sheet intensity.
