Mandeville, Jamaica – The Golfview Hotel has added a new jewel to its culinary crown with the debut of an exclusive dining concept designed for those who crave more than just a meal.
The GVH Chef’s Table is a private experience reserved for only eight guests at a time, offering an evening where the menu and the moment are orchestrated by a dedicated chef.
A Culinary Story Told Course by Course
Each gathering unfolds as a curated journey through flavors of the Caribbean reimagined with global finesse. The evening begins with roasted corn seafood chowder topped with garlic herb croutons, followed by a crisp green papaya Greek salad dressed in red wine vinaigrette.
For the main course, guests may choose between jerk chicken breast with banana patty and caramelized carrots, or salmon paired with creamed pumpkin, fried okra, and spinach. Dessert completes the narrative: beetroot ice cream alongside vanilla cake finished with coconut crème.
Redefining Hospitality in Central Jamaica
The initiative was championed by General Manager Dr. Richard Smith, who views the series as a natural extension of Golfview’s philosophy.
“Dining is not only about sustenance—it’s about expression, connection, and artistry,” Smith said. “The Chef’s Table is a setting where we can translate those values into a living, shared experience.”
Marketing and Sales Manager Letesha Whyte emphasized the event’s versatility. “It’s an unforgettable backdrop for proposals, anniversaries, or any occasion worth elevating. Every element has been designed to create lasting memories.”
