KINGSTON, Jamaica — With the summer sun rising, singer-songwriter Stacey Mirander is heating things up with a fresh, vibrant sound that blends reggae roots with global pop energy. The Florida-based Jamaican talent, known for her dynamic performances and soulful voice, is setting the stage for a season of bold releases that promise to shake up the airwaves.
Her latest drop—a sultry reggae reinterpretation of Feel Like Making Love—showcases her ability to honour the classics while giving them new life. But for Mirander, this cover is just the beginning of a new chapter in her artistry.
“Music is my love language. Every melody, every lyric—it’s how I communicate what I feel, what I’ve lived,” she shared. “This summer, I’m not holding back.”
Among her upcoming singles is Call You Mine, a sweet yet sophisticated groove that plays with themes of connection and longing. Also in the mix is Lit Up, a bold, no-apologies anthem celebrating female freedom, late-night fun, and the electric energy of sisterhood. Both tracks are slated to hit platforms in the coming weeks.
Mirander’s journey into solo stardom was sparked in 2023 when she recorded the spiritually charged track Hear Oh Lord under the guidance of acclaimed producer Bulby York and music executive Solomon ‘Triple Ess’ Salmon. Since then, she’s leaned fully into the spotlight, building a persona that balances elegance with edge.
“When I step on stage, I channel a different frequency. There’s power in tapping into that version of yourself that the world rarely sees,” she explained. “I like to call it my bold soul.”
Known for her genre-bending approach, Mirander draws influence from reggae, Afrobeat, and soul, creating a sound that’s distinctly hers. And with a growing fanbase and a confident stride into her next musical era, she’s poised to carve a lane that’s both fresh and fearless.
“This moment feels like a beginning,” she said. “And I’m ready for it.”
