The legendary reggae trailblazers Inner Circle are once again stepping into the global spotlight—this time with fresh music and a bold international presence. Their latest venture, a worldwide tour stretching across continents, accompanies the release of Reality, their first studio album in years.
Best known for their iconic anthem Bad Boys—immortalized by the COPS TV series and Bad Boys film franchise—Inner Circle continues to shape the reggae soundscape decades after first forming in Kingston, Jamaica. The band, originally founded by brothers Ian and Roger Lewis in 1968, remains a symbol of reggae’s resilience and cross-cultural power.
“Every time we touch a stage, it’s a chance to represent not just music, but the message behind it,” says co-founder Ian Lewis. “This tour is about unity, truth, and keeping reggae’s heartbeat strong.”
The global trek kicked off with a bang at Coachella in California and is set to hit major cities in Florida and North Carolina before heading overseas. Stops include Brazil, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Macedonia, and the Netherlands, with US performances continuing into the fall.
The upcoming album Reality, set for release this May, promises collaborations with reggae royalty including Mykal Rose, Tarrus Riley, and Fortunate Youth—marking a dynamic return to the studio that blends Inner Circle’s signature sound with modern reggae innovation.
More than five decades in, Inner Circle shows no signs of slowing down. Their message is clear: reggae is alive, evolving, and ready to reclaim the world stage.
