Two Darliston Residents Face Charges After Firearm Find in Early Morning Raid

A pre-dawn police operation in the Lennox community of Darliston, Westmoreland, resulted in the arrest of a man and a woman on Sunday.

According to police reports, officers arrived at a residence around 5:20 a.m. and conducted a thorough search. During the sweep, authorities discovered a Taurus pistol loaded with 12 rounds of 9mm ammunition inside the magazine, along with an additional 9mm round. A further five 9mm rounds were then found stored in a small pouch underneath a bed.

Those taken into custody are 38-year-old Phillip Warren, known locally as “Max,” who works as a farmer, and 22-year-old Roshelle Hacker, nicknamed “Rush.” Both individuals are from Lennox.

Warren and Hacker have each been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition. Their court date is expected to be announced soon.
