Authorities Intensify Efforts to Solve St Andrew South Crimes; 12 Named as Persons of Interest

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Law enforcement officials in the St Andrew South Police Division have ramped up their efforts to combat rising criminal activities in the area, naming 12 individuals as persons of interest in ongoing investigations.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has called on these individuals to report to the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) on Wednesday, January 8, at 10:00 am. Their cooperation is deemed crucial to advancing investigations into recent incidents within the division.

The persons of interest include:

  • Alex Madden, alias “Resident,” from Samacan and Kenton Avenue, Kingston.
  • An individual known only as “Bounty”, associated with the Samacan area.
  • Dino Sutherland, alias “Berty,” from 440 Drive, Kingston 20.
  • A person identified only as “Blacks” or “Bun Up”, frequently seen in Samacan.
  • Dane White, alias “Jazzy,” from 19 Seaward Drive.
  • Kimani Bernard, also linked to Samacan.
  • Mark Harrison, alias “Mark 2.”
  • Mark Harrison Jr.
  • An individual known only as “One Son”, reportedly from Gully.
  • Krishan Thompson.
  • Dane Rowe.
  • A person referred to as “Bogo”, with ties to both Samacan and Seaward Drive.

The JCF is urging the named individuals to come forward voluntarily, emphasizing the importance of their statements in piecing together critical elements of the investigations.

Additionally, the police are appealing to the public for assistance. Citizens with information that may aid the ongoing inquiries are encouraged to contact the police via emergency number 119, Crime Stop at 311, National Intelligence Bureau Tip Line at 811, or their nearest police station.

This latest announcement forms part of the JCF’s broader strategy to address crime in Kingston’s high-priority areas. Authorities are reminding the public that cooperation is pivotal in building safer communities and ensuring justice.
