KINGSTON, Jamaica – Starting Thursday, November 21, Jamaican motorists will experience a reduction in fuel prices at the pumps, as announced by Petrojam’s latest adjustments to ex-refinery costs.
Both grades of gasoline will see a decrease of $3.06 per litre. The new prices are $167.44 for 90-octane and $158.41 for 87-octane.
The cost of automotive diesel will drop by $1.98, now priced at $162.46 per litre, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will see a reduction of $2.70, priced at $169.51 per litre.
Kerosene will also be more affordable with a $2.86 decrease, bringing the price to $147.11 per litre. Additionally, liquid petroleum products will be lower; propane will drop by $2.31 to $72.91 per litre, and butane will see a $3.06 reduction, now costing $82.69 per litre.
Marketing companies and retailers will apply their own markup on these revised prices.
