48-Hour Curfew Enforced in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the Cassava Piece area of St. Andrew, restricting movement from 6:00 pm, Friday, until 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 10. Authorities are asking residents to remain within their homes during the curfew hours, allowing exceptions only for authorized purposes.

The curfew zone is defined as follows:

  • Northern Boundary: Extending from Grosvenor Heights to the junction of Grosvenor Terrace and Constant Spring Road.
  • Eastern Boundary: From Grosvenor Terrace along Constant Spring Road and through Cassava Piece Road, reaching the intersection of Mannings Hill Road and Clifton Boulevard.
  • Southern Boundary: Moving from Clifton Boulevard along Mannings Hill Road, continuing to the intersection at Glen Drive.
  • Western Boundary: Stretching from the intersection of Glen Drive and Mannings Hill Road back to Grosvenor Heights.

Residents are urged to cooperate with law enforcement to maintain safety in the area.
